When it comes to cardio there is a huge difference on the impact it has on your body between doing a high intensity class or a brisk walk outside. A high intense session will burn a tonne of calories but it gives the body a huge stress response which you want to avoid if you are already at a high level of stress. Different exercises will give you different stress responses to the body.

Our bodies have a natural response signal to stress that can be triggered through numerous things! Avoid any stress as much as possible!

So after a hard day at work, you go to the Gym take a Pre-workout have a class instructor yelling at you, you pushing your body to the limit it’s just creating more stress to your body.

Many people would benefit from doing LESS and would benefit from more relaxing forms of cardio to give the nervous system a bit of a break without creating more stress to your body.

For example try a brisk walk for 20-30 mins in the fresh air other things you can try to alleviate stress eliminate all negative people from your life, meditate, cut stimulants back, have a break from social media, have a sauna/massage.
